Catching up

Oh, be still my heart. Sean has a way with Finn sometimes. He can calm him down as well as anyone else at this point. Only, Sean's arms tire out too soon!

My sweet Kieran has done this a few times a month since Finn was born. He's still not sleeping as well as before.

As one of my friends said, Finn's cheeks are ripening nicely.

Pea loves to pick Finn up. He doesn't like it for too long but that doesn't stop her from trying again and again.

When Finn is on the floor and starting to fuss, Pea says, "Finn Alert! Finn Alert!"

She does a cute baby talk to him and he eats it up.

One of Sean's watercolorings from his now-ended watercolor class on base. He loved it and we've become good friends with the lady who teaches it and her sweet family.

Kieran, freshly shorn by Daddy, started making a craft stick house by himself. He used the glitter glue which sent Pea into fits of frustrations b/c "that's not what glitter glue is for." I kind of like how it looked. But I'm old, what do I know. :)

Missoula Children's Theater came to our base! Sean's buddy, Dottie, is the second mermaid from the right.

Sean auditioned and got a speaking part! He only joined b/c of Dottie...this was way out of his comfort zone. He ended up LOVING it, can't wait for next year, etc. He was the croco-guy, who was always bickering with croco-girl. My favorite part was where he tried to reason with her starting with the line "Pumpkin! This is all a big misunderstanding!"

Closing scene at the O'Club.

Pictures after the show.

Pea and Sean left today with Adam for the 2015 Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute! I wish I could be there. As stressful as it was with little ones under foot, I love going. Adam will do great and I can't wait to hear updates.

iPhone update

We are trying a new thing: Tuesday teatime. (I can't do hyperlinks on this app so here is the inspiration for this: http://blog.bravewriter.com/category/tuesday-teatimes/ ) We decorated the table, filled a tea pot, selected poems and read them. I hope we continue this tradition. It's a nice way to come together, no matter the difficulties of the day.
Sean has been on a sewing kick. Here, he's making a stuffed slug from his own drawing.
Funny picture of Pea's outfit choice. Yes, Kieran rides a scooter in the house. 😳
Tried to spend some time at Betsy's house. I had flashbacks to when her boys stayed with us for almost two weeks back in December while she AF her husband were out of town killing cancer.
We came home from their house as watched the Olympics until everyone fell asleep in their individually made "nests."

Sean is mesmerized by this book (thanks, Aunt Laura for the recommendation!) The American Boys' Handy Book from the library. He now has plans to make a mole trap, a chair sled and a boat.
