This and That

Brrrrrr! Yesterday it was 24 degrees when we woke up, felt like 12 with the wind. Today is 21, feels like 21. Our pellet stove is working keeping us warm thankfully.

In other news, I think my latest nice lens died. I remember it bonking around a little bit (via Kieran) as Sean played at his recital this summer in Hershey. Nothing major, just a little rolling on the floor. But, since then, it won't focus consistently, whether manual or auto. So now I'm stuck with the kit lens and that's no better than a regular point and shoot!

Pea's banana had a sticker that said Tahiti so we looked for it on our map. Took me a very long time since the Pacific is split down the middle!
Kieran is VERY interested in books lately. We read a huge assortment every night. He got far few books read to him as a baby but that doesn't seem to matter now.
Aunt Laura mentioned this easy little nut sorting activity. First try, it was too hard for him to sort into groups of three. He enjoyed it anyway, but I'll try for two next time.
This makes me happy. Kieran can darn near recite the book, Jamberry.
A house on the estate of General William Smallwood, located near our house. We meet up with our homeschool group at this park but had never ventured around until this month!
It was a chilly beginning to our park day and Pea wanted to try Kieran's 3T suit on. )
We attended a turkey time presentation at the library. Books read and her pet turkey was brought out for show.
Sean petting Herman.
More fun with nuts. He's been doing a variation on this one for a while, one to one correspondence.

We visited Aunt Laura, Leif, James and baby this weekend. Sean and Leif worked hard on this log rolling line.
Pea and Kieran climbing the fun firewood pile.
Sean and Leif decorating the oyster shell Christmas tree.
Double swinging.
Sweet baby James and me. He just turned 2 earlier this month. He hangs on like a koala.
We tried to get a picture of their paws next to each other because of the difference in size!
