NINE!

Uh, how did I miss blogging about our Sean's birthday?! I guess it probably had to do with leaving a few days after that for our family reunion but still...
He's NINE! AAAAAAAAACK! Every year, it's just hard to believe how his age keeps going up. The days definitely go by slowly sometimes but the years FLY by.
Opening up his coveted air-dry clay. He's been begging for this for a while and salt dough wasn't cutting it.

At his well-child appointment. No shots again! He was a happy patient and made the doctor laugh with a couple of his answers. None of which I can remember at this point. :(

Working with his new clay and pottery tools. Since then, he has taken two pottery classes (part of an 8-week course) and LOVES it. Two hours every week that he gets to work with his hands and create. Right up his alley.

His birthday sushi. We had to go to a different sushi company and, since the ordering was different, we were way off in how much we ordered. We had sushi leftover for dinner and breakfast the next day!

Happy boy! The sushi was exquisite. (See those bags under his eyes? He gets them and black coloring under his eyes quite often, has since he was a toddler. I can't figure out what causes it. Sleep doesn't seem to be different than normal.)

The cake.

The blowfish

Kieran loved this card that had a bear blowing out candles. He thought that was hilarious.

The LEGO book from Aunt Erin and Uncle John paused the festitivies for a while. Sean had to sit and read it for at least 5 minutes. He reads this book for probably hours still.

The beetle book we bought him. Also well-loved.

And the big present was the Snap circuits rover. :)
