Whoa...almost another month has gone by! We are in the middle of a great summer. Our commitments are down to just violin/piano and boy scouts but we are busy making lots of memories with friends here on the base. Most every day starts with Sean and Cathleen working on their checklist (violin/piano practice, summer workbook, and a few simple chores). We go to the base pool 3-6 days a week. Life is full and I think my dream of having a classic summer for the kids is panning out mostly. :)

Sean is very busy with his friends now. He would play outside with them all day every day if he could. He's started to sleep in, sometimes very late, and go to bed fairly late too. It's hard for me to get anyone asleep before 9 (except the baby) with all the fun happening outside with neighbors while the sun is still out. He's loving boy scouts and has achieved the first rank of Scout. We've signed him up for the Boy Scout camp in Virginia that Adam attended once! He is extremely excited about that, especially since two of his friends are going too. He's still rocking out the violin and reading books though the reading happens a bit less now that he's a social butterfly.

Cathleen is on the upward swing of her difficulties from the spring. She's learning to handle frustrations and her screaming fits are few and far between. She chats with a lovely counselor on base every week and she LOVES going. Thankfully!

Kieran is in a hurry to grow up and earn money and do all the things his big brother and sister do! He is super duper sweet with Finnian still. He does have his moments when he gets frustrated and lets off some steam by screaming. If you don't try to talk sense into him, he'll stop quickly! He's grown quite a bit but is thankfully still a sweet little innocent boy still.

Finnian is happy with his new hair cut and learning how to climb and get into things like a crazy person! Still, he loves to dance, lay his head on people he loves, and he's learning new baby signs at a quick rate.
