Kieran's study of rivers and oceans caused us to bike ride to the offshoots of the Gun Island Chute/Alabama River on base. It was very buggy but we saw quite a few huge spider webs and banana spiders, and an egret.
Cathleen's rendition of Minn the snapping turtle from the book, Minn of the Mississippi.

Cathleen was mapping the beginning of Minn's route on the Mississippi.

Lara and Cathleen saying goodbye.

Sean starting his algebra.

New Dempsey recruits! We are fostering them, of course, but they're the sweetest kitties. Not reclusive like many of our other fosters.

Finn really wanted to brush Kieran's teeth; thankfully, big brother obliged.

More lovely drawings/watercolors from Pea.

Cathleen made these all by herself while I was at an appointment!

Finn loves the kitties! This is Rusty.

Cathleen working on her lettering.

Sean requested his name in fancy letters from Pea! Must include Rockets, he said.
