Erin and I took Cathleen and Madelyn to tea service in the local tea room.
Cheers!
Easter morning!
Sean was too weak to do much for 3 days. Slight fever but no other symptoms. He's on the mend, thankfully.
On our way to Mass.
This is the only picture I have of Easter dinner: Lemon Tart.
We spent a whole day out and about in Washington. Kieran and the other children loved the metro!
More metro fun.
The girls were glued to the train window.
Finally, we arrived at the National Mall. Kieran explored on foot while
Sean was pushed in the stroller (all. day.) and Pea rode on the back buggy board.
Our annual picture in front of the beaver sign.
Kieran was a trooper on our 9 hours out of the house.
The National Zoo has a carousel now! The kids waited in line with Uncle John and were so excited to run in and choose an animal.
This is one of the few times Sean had smiled in two days! He was soooo weak.
Daddy and Kieran waiting at the carousel.
Smiles! Happy! A wave!
A group picture in front of the lions (which is what Kieran was looking at.)
Easter egg hunt at our house.
Feeling better, though he was really grumpy with Pea. Most of the day.
More hunting. I caught Kieran discovering his first egg in this picture.
Saying goodbye this morning.
These two girls had fun playing together.
Aunt Erin planted a smooch on Kieran's cheek as we said goodbye.
Kieran and Uncle John saying goodbye.
Waving to their car as it rolled out of sight.
You did such a great job documenting our stay with you guys. We had a really great time playing, eating and relaxing at your house. Downtown DC was a fun outing full of firsts for Madelyn. Thanks for organizing the tea service as well- it was such a unique and special thing to take the girls to. Thanks for having us!!
